Crews who have qualified for the Olympics/ Paralympics are shown in bold.
Crews which have definitely not qualified are shown struck through.
* indicates where NOC will need to choose between equally placed crews (JPN chose 2 from 4 1st placed, IRI to choose 1 from equally placed).
Crews which might have qualified, depending on choices by NOCs/NPCs for higher places, are shown in italics.
** indicates where NOC now need to choose between equally placed crews, resulting from choices made by JPN NOC.
If I read the rules correctly, as JPN have qualified crews of both genders, they don't get a Host Country allocation, & hence a 6th slot is available in M1x and in W1x. 

Crews which have not qualified through this Continental Qualification Regatta may try again at the Final Qualification Regatta.

The situation is obviously complicated with all the choices available, so I may well have got things wrong.  If so, please let me know.
