Lost riggers - March 04
"The riggers were left at Thames Tradesmen boat house round the front, tied together and with our boat and blades. This was the Sunday before the School's Head and the weekend before the main head. When we went back to rig the boat for the Head the riggers were gone. I hope that some over zealous school crew have picked them up in their clear up operation. Can you help us to find them? Nick De Cata Walton RC"
Any response, please e-mail me, & I'll pass the message on.

Subject: BBC 1 Game Show looking for fit contestants
I have received the following notice:
"Our TV company is called 12 Yard Productions, and we're looking for contestants for a new BBC 1 game show.
We are looking for extremely fit and competitive people to take part in a show that will challenge them both mentally and physically. As sports obviously involves high levels of fitness, we wondered if the show may appeal to members or associates of your rowing club.
The show comprises a number of outdoor physical challenges performed by two teams of 4 (2 men & 2 women) and the victorious team could win up to £7000 each. In order to ensure that all contestants are up for the challenge we ask everyone to fill in an application form and attend a fitness assessment.
Attached here is a brief outline of the show for your information. Also attached is the application form, so please forward this on to anyone who wishes to get involved.
We are holding our auditions/fitness assessments next Wednesday evening, April 23rd, at Hyde Park in London, so applicants should bear this in mind.
If you have any queries please feel free to contact us.
Best wishes
